Grit is a confident, independent, self respecting young female with pronounced working ability. In many ways she is a female version of her brother, Guts just more independent and more heavily nose oriented. She is a dog to makes you earn her loyalty, but once you have it she is incredibly reliable even for her young age. She is a very confident and naturally forward female, she has no problems confronting a threat but is also not too quick to react. She has firm, full, calm grips and high possession. She also has a fantastic nose and strong hunt; she loves to search. She also has natural retrieval drive and is a very easy dog to live with. She has a great off switch, is not a destructive dog and is great with my kids.
